About

OpenCookies: a cookie banner that does what it says.

OpenCookies is a cookie banner and website testing service. It blocks Google, Meta, TikTok and other trackers before the visitor chooses, keeps proof of consent, and checks every month, in a real browser, that everything works.

Why OpenCookies exists

Many banners show a choice but let trackers fire before the visitor answers. OpenCookies was created to close that gap: block first, then prove it with a repeatable measurement rather than a promise.

What OpenCookies does

• A banner installed with one line of code, with “Refuse” as easy as “Accept” and Consent Mode v2.
• A real-browser test, before and after the choice, whose report states what is “observed” or “not observed”.
• A consent log, alerts and an offer for agencies.
• Installation possible by an AI assistant, with no form and no captcha.

Our principles

• No trackers, no advertising cookies and no third-party resources on this site.
• We do not sell legal advice: a report describes what was observed on a given date.
• The limits are spelled out in the test method.
